DegreeTree does not provide any equipment or hardware to set up your home business. Following are the computer requirements you must have in order to contract with DegreeTree:

• A personal computer with at least a 1 GHz processor.
• High Speed Internet Connection (DSL or Cable Modem) with a minimum of 3Mbps download speed and 0.5 Mbps upload speed. Faster speeds will yield better results.
• A minimum of 1 GB of RAM memory.
• Up-to-date web browser that supports Flash (FireFox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer).
• Java 2- Version 1.5 or higher.
• A minimum of one USB port (USB version 2).
• System configured to Microsoft's recommendations as outlined on their "Protect Your PC Web Site." These steps include:
• Windows Update enabled and configured to update automatically
• Windows standard firewall enabled on systems where it exists
• Anti-Virus software installed and configured to automatically update (refer to Microsoft's website for instructions on securing your system).
• Microsoft has effective anti-spyware software you can download for free: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/ software/default.mspx
• Operating system should be Window's Vista or newer.

Equipment & Service

• A monitor capable of displaying at least 1024 X 768 pixels.
• A sound card installed.
• Headset with working microphone and speakers.
• Voice-over IP phone services (e.g. Skype, Vonage), cellular phones, and satellite phones are not compatible with DegreeTree's system.
• Long distance service is not necessary.
